Jason played four years at TCU (1991-1995), where he was an All-Southwest Conference performer as a catcher and designated hitter. He went on to play minor league baseball in the North Atlantic League for the Newark Barge Bandits (1995) and in the Texas-Louisiana League for the Abilene Prairie Dogs (1996-1999). A career .337 hitter in the minor leagues, Jason hit .383 and approached the vaunted .400 mark in Abilene for the Prairie Dogs. A local instructor, Jason has numerous years of experience in the instruction of hitting and catching technique for baseball and softball. He works with young men and women of all ages in hitting and catching technique and approach.
